Assembling the trap is very easy. Just follow these steps:
1. Remove the brown paper from the sticky pad.
2. Open the foil packet to reveal the bait.
3. Place the bait at the center of the trap.
4. Fold the side flaps and open all windows to form a roof-like structure. Lock the two sides to secure.
The roof can be adjusted for different trap placements:
There is no need to open the packet and spread the food bait on the adhesive. Simply put the attractant at the center and wait for the cockroaches to be lured inside the trap. The packet has small holes enough for cockroaches to smell what’s inside.
This should not be a problem if the amount consumed is equivalent to 1 or a few bait packs. However, since the attractant is not designed as a food item, please do not let pets eat it.
There is no harm. The attractant bait is made of natural ingredients and is non-toxic. It also does not contain any insecticide.
First, use duct tapes or scotch tapes to take off the glue as much as possible. Simply attach the tapes on the glue. However, if it is attached on fabric materials like clothes or bags, it may not be able to completely get off. It may also cause some damages, so try attaching the tapes on hidden parts of the material first to check if it does not cause any damage.
In case the adhesive is attached to the hand or to the floor, apply vegetable oil, baby oil or hand cream, benzine or kerosene on the affected area and wipe it off. Afterwhich, wash with water and soap.
In case the glue is accidentally attached to clothes, bags, curtains, or other fabrics, wipe it off with benzine and wash with soap. If the materials of the cloth, bag or curtain are fragile or highly valuable, consult with professional cleaning services.
In case the glue is accidentally attached on pets, do the following:
• Appy plenty of powder such as baby powder or flour on the glue, then take as much glue as off as possible
with a tool such as a comb.
• Apply enough vegetable oil on the glue then wipe it off and wash with soap and water.
Do not use benzine on small animals as it might cause adverse effects on them. It will take time, but it is
recommended to use vegetable oil on small animals.
If the glue still does not come off, cut off the hair along with the attached glue.
The product is effective for a month after the protective paper covering the glue is taken off. It is recommended to replace the Hoy Hoy sheet with a new one monthly as humidity or dust will affect and lower the level of adhesiveness.
